Artist Packing Standards Guide
RedDOTvirtual™ · Professional Packing Protocol
Proper packing protects your artwork, your reputation, and the collector's experience. RedDOTvirtual™ requires all artists to follow these standards to ensure safe, insured, and professional shipment of artworks.
Carrier & Insurance Requirements
- Designated Carrier: All artwork shipments must be sent via FedEx. FedEx is RedDOTvirtual™'s required carrier for reliable tracking and professional handling.
- Insurance is mandatory: Every shipment must include transit insurance covering the full declared retail value of the artwork. No artwork may ship without insurance.
- Insurance Rates: Domestic shipments — 1.5% of declared value. International shipments — 2.0% of declared value.
